This marks the point where ripening begins and the grape berries change colour from green to red, or green to yellow. Beneath the skins, acidity levels decrease and natural sugar levels increase. Veraison begins at different points across our vineyards, depending on location and grape variety, with our Early Pinot Noir being the first to enter the phase this year.
