We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with our home county cricket club Kent Cricket. Based in Canterbury, our latest affiliation proudly takes our association with English Cricket to Kent soil. As the ‘Official Sparkling Wine’ of the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), our national partnership sees our award-winning products offered to winning teams on the podium at all Men’s International, Women’s International and Domestic Finals - watched by millions worldwide.
Launching our partnership this week with Kent Cricket as part of their 170th Canterbury Cricket Week, is a proud moment, demonstrating our commitment to supporting the much-cherished English sport both at national and regional level. Canterbury Cricket Week is the oldest surviving cricket festival in the world. Kent’s match with Northamptonshire, which took place yesterday, featured our pop-up Chapel Down outdoor bar for spectators to enjoy an al-fresco glass of English sparkling wine during the match. Our partnership will also see our award-winning sparkling and still wines served across main bars and hospitality areas and will be supported by advertising within the Canterbury grounds.
Commenting on our latest partnership our CEO, Andrew Carter, said: “Our brand home is in Kent and we are delighted to be partnering with Kent Cricket this summer. Not only is it one of England’s first-class county clubs, it is also at the centre of our county’s sporting community. We are committed to supporting the game at both a national and regional level.”
Kent Cricket’s Director of Partnerships, Andy Griffiths, also seconded his enthusiasm for the partnership: “It’s exciting to partner with another outstanding Kentish business in Chapel Down. Chapel already has a relationship with ECB, so it’s fantastic to see their commitment to supporting cricket at all levels of the game by becoming official partners of Kent Cricket.”
Be sure to drop by Kent Cricket Club in Canterbury across the cricketing season to enjoy a glass of our finest as the official sparkling wine sponsors of English Cricket.
