Vineyard

Our wines are produced from grapes grown in the South East of England. We own some of the finest vineyards in England, primarily situated on the Kent Downs. Our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus vines are grown on south facing chalk soils and benefit from a warm, maritime climate. We also source high quality fruit from long-term partner vineyards across Kent, Sussex and Essex, resulting in balanced wines with unique flavour profiles.
Winemaking

We have a world-class winemaking team with extensive experience in sparkling wine and cool climate wine regions. Our sparkling and still wines are made to the highest standards using the latest winemaking techniques, resulting in elegant wines with balanced acidity and rich fruit characters.

While Prosecco is Italian, A Touch of Sparkle is proudly English, showcasing the purity and freshness of grapes grown in the Garden of England. It’s lighter in fizz, offering a beautifully balanced, easy-drinking style — a fresher way to celebrate.
A Touch of Sparkle wines are produced via the carbonation method. Grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. Chapel Down A Touch of Sparkle wine goes through cool fermentation in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation. This helps to retain freshness of this style.

Most English still wines, such as Bacchus and Flint Dry, are made to be enjoyed young and fresh, within two to three years of release. However, premium wines like Kit’s Coty Chardonnay can develop beautifully with age, gaining complexity over several years if stored correctly.
Store your wine in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. Ideally, bottles should be kept horizontally if sealed with a cork to keep it moist, or upright if under screwcap. Consistent temperature is key to maintaining quality.
Once opened, English still wine is best enjoyed within two to three days. Reseal the bottle with a wine stopper and keep it in the fridge to help preserve its freshness and delicate aromatics.
