As our team begins food preparation in advance, we’re unable to make changes or accept cancellations within 24 hours of your booking, or the full charge may still apply.

At certain points in the year the winery will be inaccessible on the tour due to harvest/production taking place on site.

If you are traveling by car, we offer free parking in our large on-site car park. For those using public transport, we are a 20-minute taxi ride from Headcorn train station and 35 minutes from Ashford International train station.

Please note that there is no Uber service in the area and no taxi rank at Headcorn station. We would highly recommend booking a taxi in advance of your visit.

We do not have a charging point at Chapel Down, but a Pod Point charger is available just 2 miles from the vineyard.

The Tour

Begin with a short walk through our Tenterden vineyard, where you’ll learn about the vine life-cycle and the influence of our unique maritime climate. You’ll then follow your guide into our working winery to see first-hand where our wines are made and discover the intricacies of traditional-method sparkling winemaking.
The Tasting

Enjoy a tutored tasting of five signature wines, where you’ll gain insight into how our winemaking techniques shape the character of each glass and compliment locally produced artisanal cheeses. After the tasting, you’re welcome to relax and explore our Cellar Door shop with a glass of our award-winning sparkling Rosé and a £10 gift voucher each.

Our Cellar Door shop, winery, and many areas of the vineyard are accessible. However, the Swan restaurant is only accessible via stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know of any accessibility requirements when booking.
