Product Information:

Hand harvested from our 100-acre Kit's Coty vineyard on the Kent Downs, this exceptional 2014 vintage was made with only the very best parcels of fruit. This refined sparkling wine has undergone malolactic fermentation and 13% of the blend is matured in barrel before bottling and being left to age on it's lees for 9 years. After disgorgement the wine was aged in our cellar for a further 6 months building complexity.

A wine to elevate any occasion. Enjoy with shellfish and white fish.

  • Vineyard

    Kit’s Coty, Kent 100%

Kit's Coty is a 100 acre vineyard located on the Kent Downs. Its southerly aspect ensures the vines capture the sunlight all season long, while the warm, free draining chalk soils provide the perfect terroir for producing well balanced, intensely flavoured fruit that truly express their identify and the unique soil qualities.

  • Winemaking

Harvested by hand in September and October, this refined sparkling wine has under gone malolactic fermentation to add richness and hints of butter. and 29% of the blend is matured in barrel before being left to age on its lees for three and a half years before release, to help develop its toast like aromas. French Oak barrels, create a more complex palate of well integrated oak flavours balanced against refreshing tropical fruit.

"The 2014 vintage Blanc de Blancs feels a step up. Green orchard fruit, pear and green apple with opulence of ripe, juicy peach, baked apple pudding and ripe stone fruit flavours".

John Mobbs Wine Guide - 2019

"Rich, weighty and long, with aromas of button mushroom, brown sugar, apricot danish and candied lemon peel, then refreshing acidity through a soft mousse which shows wholemeal bread, fresh lemons and ripe apricot."

Decanter - 2019

"The mousse is fine and silky; the fruit is rounded, ripe and pure. The freshness is countered with billowy, brioche richness that countered into purest creaminess. The finish is long still fruit-driven and dry."

Wine Enthusiast - 2019
