Highly recommend, impressive English sparkling wine, fruity balanced taste which lingers to refresh the palate....The sparkles are the fun part. A wonderful celebratory luxury wine. For this fussy lady it's a hands down winner!

Product Information:

A Touch of Sparkle by Chapel Down is characterised by aromas of grapefruit and elderflower. The crisp and fresh effervescence carries the tropical fruit and floral flavours giving a balanced and refreshing finish.

The wine has been gently carbonated so as to not overpower the delicate aromas of the grape varieties of Bacchus and Chardonnay.

Great as an aperitif or the perfect pairing to salads and grilled poultry.

Vineyard

To ensure consistent top quality fruit for this wine, we source from a collection of vineyards in Kent, Sussex and Essex. Grapes are grown predominantly on single and double guyot pruning systems, on varied soils including, chalk, clay and loam soils to best benefit the grape varietals grown.
Winemaking

A Touch of Sparkle Classic is produced via the carbonation method. Grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch pressed in 2023. Chapel Down A Touch of Sparkle wines goes through cool fermentation in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation. This helps to retain freshness of this style.
