Crisp and Refreshing

A very refreshing white with subtle aromas of the Kent countryside. Very enjoyable and works well with Fish and Chips.

This collection of vibrant English wines celebrates the art of English winemaking.

Pinot Blanc is a wine we only make in warm years such as 2022. Aromas of pear, apricot and candied citrus, the palate has a savoury character with a crisp finish of lime zest.

Great paired with seafood, summer salads or Thai cuisine.

  • Vineyard

The subtle, but highly versatile Pinot Blanc. Originating as a white grape mutation of Pinot Noir from Burgundy, Pinot Blanc is now most commonly grown in Alsace (France), Baden (Germany) and Lombardy (Italy). It is, however, a great match for the warmer areas of England. It thrives in relatively cool wine growing areas on limestone/clay mix soils, where it produces dry, refreshing still white wines, as well as being an excellent blending grape for sparklers. Think Franciacorta or Crémant.

  • Winemaking

Our winemaking team are continually experimenting with different varieties and styles, releasing limited parcels under the ‘Discovery Series’ label. The Pinot Blanc grapes were whole bunch pressed, and only the best juice was used. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation. This allows for additional velvety texture and body to be added to these wines, without overpowering signature floral or citrus aromas.
